Keys…..

………….is the theme over on Wednesday Stamper this week.  I struggled with this theme, find it hard to know how to incorporate keys into things I make, but then yesterday a friend gave me a template of a house and today when I went to have a play with it I suddenly knew what I could do!

Cut a slightly more wonkier arch than the template out of some chipboard, stuck some old paper on out of a book and then painted the whole thing with gesso and acrylics.  Used a Hot of the Press border stamp for just under the roof, stamped and stuck on 4 Invoke Arts faces and painted some little window frames round them and then stuck our old twisted back door key in the doorway.

Wow – stunning artwork, Donna. This house has so much character – love the wonkiness, and the use of faces at the windows – well, everything really!
