Saturday Stamper

The theme for this weeks challenge on Saturday Stamper is ‘trees’, so I’ve made this simple little wintery tag using a stamp I bought off a friend last week and an old tree stamp I’ve had for ages.

Autumn….

….is this weeks theme over on the Gothic arch challenge site, don’t know what it is about this shape but I do like working with it.  I used a Lost Coast Design stamp for the main image, I thought the pair of them looked all ready for an autumn walk!  For me autumn pushes hard with spring to be my favourite season, I love the constantly changing colours and the lovely crispness in the morning air.

oh-la-la…

….France is the theme for this weeks 4×4 challenge and I was determined I wasn’t going to do Paris!  Whilst thinking what I could do instead the song ‘La vie en rose’ (life in pink – loose translation) came into my head, so that became my inspiration.  Mind you you I’m still humming it even now so I might come to regret it!!  The background is a page from a french dictionary which I covered with acrylic daubers and a little distress ink. Main image is yet another new stamp from my stamp show visit and is a Simple Expressions stamp from Katy’s corner.

More atc’s…

…..this time for a forum swap.  The theme was lime green and chocolate brown.  Backgrounds are alcohol inks on glossy card and the stamps are by Crafty Individuals (yet more urchases from yesterday!).

That’s this weeks challenge on TMTA and here’s my contribution.  I used a new stamp[ I bought yesterday when I went to a stamp show. It’s a Simple Expressions stamp from Katy’s Corner, the background was done using Adirondack inks which I applied with a brayer, the figure was highlighted with a light coating of Diamond Glaze.

The Art of Da Vinci

The theme for wednesday stamper this week is an atc tryptich.  Decided to do mine using some of the stamps from Time to Stamp’s ‘Leo’ plate.  Did the backgrounds with acrylic daubers again and then some chalk ink on top, then stamped the images mostly with black stazon.  Have to admit the photo doesn’t show the colours to their best but it was the best I could do!!

ATC for TMTA challenge…

….which this week is to use a slide mount on the atc.  I’ve used mine to ‘capture’ the little fairy girl!  Used acrylic duabers for the background which I then overstamped with my ever faithful chalk inks. Check out the challenges at TMTA

Just a little tag…

…which I made last night.  No guesses as to the theme!  Used a couple of BLine stamps for the main images, distress inks for the background which I then spritzed with some gold perfect pearls dissolved in a bit of water just to give a bit of shimmer.
